My name is C.B. Mottor, but you can call me C. I pen raw and evocative poetry and prose driven by lived experience and shaped by chronic illness, mental health struggles, love, loss, and life-altering traumas. I’ve also been known to dabble in writing dystopian horror novels and screenplays.

Apart from my writing, I’m proud to share my artistic photography focused on finding beauty in the chaos, celebrating the skin we’re in, and exploring what it means to be a perfectly imperfect and deeply flawed, yet hopeful human being.
I’m also proud to be the founder of Shadow Dog Press and The SDL Review Antholo-Journal.

When I’m not creating, you can find me in the garden with a cup of coffee and the elder cats or out hiking with my dogs in the Berkshires and beyond.
